Views of the Manor

An Architectural Character

The manor draws on Virginia’s Georgian tradition and Colonial Revival architecture, expressed through its balanced façade, surrounding porches, patios, cupola, and distinctive multilevel rooflines.

Views Within the Manor

Characterful Interiors

At the heart of Arroway is the Grand Hall, where soaring beams evoke a medieval cathedral, while changing light and eclectic details give the space its distinctive character. Beyond the Hall, inviting rooms reveal their own craftsmanship, art, and cross-cultural details.

Meet the Founder

Welcome to Arroway

Over five years ago, we moved to the Appalachian Mountains looking for a different way of life during COVID. Surrounded by mountains, woodlands, open skies, and a long creek, a shared dream gradually took shape: to create a home where we could build a new life while staying connected with nature, and as though the world had quietly stepped aside.

Today, that vision lives on as Arroway.

Whether you come for a quiet stay or for a gathering such as a wedding or special celebration, my hope is that you leave feeling restored and inspired, taking a little of Arroway with you.

I look forward to welcoming you personally.
